Infraction (Players Game #2) by Rachel Van Dyken

My Rating: 4 Stars
Sex Scenes: Yes.
Series:Yes, Players Game #2
Subject: Winning her love.
Synopsis:
New York Times bestselling author Rachel Van Dyken proves that everyone scores to win. But off the field, a fumble can change the entire game.

Pro footballer Miller Quinton would do anything for his best friend and teammate—including “fake dating” his friend’s sister. What no one knows is that seven months ago in Vegas, Miller and Kinsey did a whole lot more than just kiss. Miller knows that this cheerleader is off-limits to him and any guy on the team. Still, he can’t stop himself.

Kinsey’s whole world is on the verge of crumbling. Her dad has cancer. Her overprotective brother is falling apart. Dating Miller may be a fake-out, but he’s the one guy who can make her forget about everything—including all the reasons she stayed away from football players. With each heated moment, Miller feels more like a safe place…even though he’s not safe at all.

Now temptation is testing every rule in the game of love. But how long can they go on playing when winning is a harder goal than either of them imagined?

Well, this was a story I was definitely looking forward to Reading. I couldn’t wait to find out what was going to happen between Miller and Kinsey and I wasn’t disappointed.

This books is not just about their story though, we get to see a bit of what’s going on with Jax and realize his life hasn’t been as easy as people think. He shares a secret with Kensey that ties them together and this book uncovers that one and a lot more.

Miller is strong and fearless when it comes to football but he has been abandoned by the two most important people in his life, and now he is scared, so he runs.  After their first time together he can’t seem to find another way of fixing things than to send her away and break her heart in the process.

Now that she is back and they get stuck into this weird situation there’s no avoiding her.
Kensey is sure of one thing, she can’t resist him, there’s just something about him that calls to her on a deeper level; and things get complicated once he decides he can’t resist her either.

But she is afraid of letting her brother down, and we can’t understand the relationship till they share their darkest secrets.

The book was full of fun moments; these characters are just amazing and hilarious. We also get to see them vulnerable and hurt by life. The whole thing with the kid in the hospital and the dream just brought me to my knees, I cried on my kindle like a little girl.

A really fun and beautiful story.
