BOSS: A Stepbrother Billionaire Romance by Victoria Villeneuve

My Rating: 3  Stars
Series: No
Sex Scenes: Yes.
Subject: Stepbrother from hell and sexy as hell.
Synopsis

It wasn't enough that Kiegan Hunt had everything - ridiculously good looks, an enormous bank account balance and a name more famous in America than the Kennedys - he also had to make my teenage years a living hell.

Years later, broke and estranged from the Hunt family, the last thing I expected to see was Kiegan - still just as sinfully sexy as ever - standing on my doorstep, offering me a job.

I've always been a good girl. Can I really handle working for a bad boy who makes my blood boil every time I look at him?

Just the thought of having to obey his every command makes my panties want to slip off.

He's insufferable. I know that. I know better than to do this. But he's also irresistible. That's why this is such a bad idea.

It's too bad I already said yes...

My Review

I also got this book by Victoria Villeneuve for an honest review and even though I liked the other story better, this one was still good.

Kiegan is not a good guy from what we can tell at the beginning he is mean and rude and we hate him from the first time he shows up.

But what was it they used to tell us when we were younger? If he picks on you, its because he likes you, boys are stupid like that, and oh boy they were right !

The heat they rise once they decide to give it a go was HOT, the first intimate scene is one NOT to miss and made it worth the read.

Tina was a character I didn't like, it was hard to relate with her when she was crushing hard on the guy that ruined her life, yeah, we are dumb sometimes but she was the queen of dumbsville.

She kept going on and on about how he was the person she hated the most and then in a second, with a kiss and a magic pleasure equipment she is swooning.

The story was good and entertaining and the sex scenes were definitely the best part of the book.

What I didn't like that much was the love at first bang after years of hate and resentment, but except from that, it was a fun book.

Ice Cold (An MMA Stepbrother Romance) by Victoria Villeneuve

My Rating:  4 Stars
Series: An MMA Stepbrother Romance
Sex Scenes: Yes.
Subject: Sexy fighter and the good girl who are more alike than what they thought possible.

Synopsis
"You don't usually do this kind of thing, do you Alexa?" he asked.

I've been a good girl my whole life. But even good girls are allowed one night of amazing, unbridled passion with no consequences, right?

Wrong.

It turns out the panty-droppingly sexy MMA fighter Ice, with his sculpted body and hands that know exactly what I need, is going to be my stepbrother.

And it also turns out the more time I spend with him, the more I hate him. He's so arrogant; the cockiest, most infuriating person I've ever met. An absolute bastard, and a total asshole. No question.

So why can't I stop thinking about him?

My Review

I got this book for an honest review by the author and I am sorry for the delay, it got lost on my kindle to read shelf, but now that I have read it I have to say I enjoyed it a lot!

Ice made me remember why I liked MMA's romance novels, SO HOT! He has the perfect body and a bad-ass attitude to go with it, he is definitely a bad boy, so of course we all love him.
But he has some darkness within too, which gives him an edge that's just irresistible.

Alexa is your regular good girl, she is so out of her comfort zone when he is around him that you can't help but sympathise with her. She is scared and guarded at first but he sets her inner sex goddess free and there's no stopping them.

The stepbrother theme gives it a little bit more spice but its not the usual type of stepbrother romance which worked just perfect for the plot.

The story line is really good, the author keeps you on edge and wanting more, overall a good book !

The Baller's Secret Baby (Barnes Family #1) by Normandie Alleman

My Rating:  4 Stars
Series: Barnes Family #1.
Sex Scenes: Yes.
Subject: The kind of love that never dies.

Synopsis

He may be a player, but this stud’s not shooting blanks.

NICK
I'm nobody's baby daddy.
I don't care how many stunning women throw themselves at me, looking to turn one hot night into an eighteen-year paycheck.
I've got way too much on the line to throw it away for one night of pleasure.

Ball is life, and basketball is my first priority.
I've got a championship to win.
But when I see her, shaking those pom-poms on the sideline, I’m transported back to childhood.
Reminded of the days before a fiery plane crash ripped our lives apart, forcing us to grow up overnight.
Back then, Eden Evans stole my heart, and this time, I might be ready to let her keep it.

EDEN
I have no interest in a man who comes with groupies.
With a rock legend for a father, I’ve seen the toll fame takes on a marriage.
The last thing I need is a guy with more Twitter followers than Justin Beiber.

So when Nick Barnes dribbles his way back into my life, My heart and head go into battle.
I can't fight my desire for the sexy baller with his eight-pack abs and panty-dropping charm.
And when that little stick shows an unmistakable plus sign, suddenly, everything is on the line.

With a secret baby on the way, will Nick realize that having the home court advantage is what he's wanted all along?

This is a standalone romance novel with a HEA and no cliffhangers. Light on basketball and heavy on steamy romance, this first book featuring members of the Barnes family.

My Review

I got this book for an honest review by the author and I found it to be a good, fun and sexy story.

Eden is a beautiful young woman who has accomplished a lot in her young age and she seems content with how things are going for her.

Nick is this hotshot basketball player who has always been in the spotlight, but surprisingly he hasn't been affected by that on a deeper level, he is still a good guy.

When they reconnect, there isn't a second of doubt in my mind that they belong together,  even though time has passed, they just work.

It is a beautiful love story with the necessary drama to be interesting and captivating.

I knew the mom would be a problem from the start, and I was rooting for them to beat her at her game !

The book has this cute factor based on the idea of two little kids who fall for each other, and then realize that this love was so much stronger that it stayed with them through their lives and now is their moment,

I Recommend.

Excerpt
I ordered for us both and we settled into an easy conversation. Being with her felt like slipping into an old pair of comfortable shoes—if those shoes were the hottest kicks ever, and they made your stomach do a flip when you wore them.
The champagne arrived, and I made a toast. “To old friends.”
“To old friends,” she repeated and clinked her glass against mine. “I probably shouldn’t be drinking this.”
“Why is that?”
Then she told me about the scrutiny she was under from the cheerleading director of the Scorpions.
“I hear you. I don’t drink much during the season myself, but tonight seems like a special occasion.”
“Oh, it is. I agree with you! And I am having the fish.”
“You are. What a good girl.” I wanted to offer to help her work off some of the calories later, but I behaved myself and only thought it.
She giggled. “Okay, so I have a question.”
“Shoot.”
She smiled before continuing. “I heard these girls talking about how you have bunnies… What does that mean?”
It was my turn to smile. “It’s like saying someone has hops—like they can jump.”
Her face lit up. “Oh, so it’s like how Charles Barkley calls you Air Apparent because you can dunk so well.”
“Yes, exactly like that.”
“How do you do it—dunk I mean?”
I shrugged. “Practice. Lots of practice.”
“Well, that’s a relief. I was afraid they were talking about Playboy bunnies.”
We both laughed.
“Not quite. I steer clear of that place.”
“The Playboy Mansion?”
“Yeah. That scene is a trap for guys like me.”
“In what way? Seems like guys like you would love that sort of, ahem, environment.”
“Nah. Maybe if we could stay incognito, but once people recognize you, know you’ve got money, they all want one thing from you.”
“And I’m guessing it’s not your hops?”
“Nope. Everybody wants a payday, a piece of you. When you’ve got money you can’t trust anyone.”
She shook her head. “Especially if you’re famous. I do well with my medical business, but it’s not the same.”
I stood corrected. Damn, I needed this girl. She brought me back down to Earth.
Taking her hand across the table, I held it, the warmth of her skin felt so good in my hand that for a moment I forgot all the outside pressures, the untrustworthy people and the users in the world. Everything else melted away and it was just me and Eden, who’d known me when I was a boy. The girl who was my friend before I became a household name or signed my first contract for millions. When it was just us blowing bubbles during the hot summer days and chasing fireflies at night.
Holding hands with her like this—it felt like home.

Tell Me a Story - The Story Series: EPISODE ONE (The Story Series #1) by Tamara Lush

My Rating:  3 Stars
Series: Yes, The Story Series #1.
Sex Scenes: Yes.
Subject: Sexy bedtime stories and a woman letting go of her fears.
Synopsis
Emma, a free-spirited bookstore owner in Orlando, keeps her business afloat with innovative ideas. Her most popular evening event is Story Brothel, where customers can pay writers to read aloud to them in a story-time for two, complete with cocktails. Despite the name, the event is usually tame.

But things take a steamy turn when a handsome, urbane businessman hires Emma for a session in a private cabana. Daringly, she shares with him a reading of her erotica. Soon both of them are feeling the effects … and Emma’s wondering what kind of lover is underneath his expensive suit.

Caleb may be a billionaire real estate mogul, but he’s never been captivated by a woman as he is by the lovely, quirky Emma. Her rockabilly vintage dresses make him long to strip them off and do very wicked things to her. And her refusal to share her personal life only makes him more curious.

Soon the couple are spending every available moment together. But Emma’s building is in danger of being razed out from under her bookstore … and worse, Caleb may be behind her problems. Can she trust him with her life as she does with her body? Or will the prickly walls built during her harsh past keep them apart?

**This is a stand-alone novella. But Caleb and Emma's journey will continue in the summer of 2016...**

My Review
I got this book for an honest review on Netgalley and it’s also an Amazon Freebie Today!

I have to be honest; when I read the synopsis of the book I had such high expectations that unfortunately weren’t met. I’m not saying it’s a bad book it was interesting, and the characters were beautifully described, but I was hoping for a little more spice to it.

The whole erotica reading subject had so much potential, I needed a little bit more of the sexy moments for the characters on their first encounter, it was just too short for me.

That being said it was still a good story and they get to connect and captivate the reader with their intensity.

We do get an intense scene while she reads to him at his house the first time, that was totally worth the read, they seemed so connected to each other, you almost feel you are right there with them.

Overall it’s a good short read, and what I got from the book was the idea that you need to let go of your past and give people a chance, not everybody is the same and some people really want you for who you are.

Taking chances is the only way to find happiness, it’s scary, but in the end, it’s worth it!

Dirty (Dive Bar #1) by Kylie Scott

My Rating: 5 Stars

Series: Yes, Dive Bar #1.

Sex Scenes: Yes.

Subject: The kind of Love that catches you unexpectedly and never lets go.

Summary
The last thing Vaughan Hewson expects to find when he returns to his childhood home is a broken hearted bride in his shower, let alone the drama and chaos that comes with her.

Lydia Green doesn't know whether to burn down the church or sit and cry in a corner. Discovering the love of your life is having an affair on your wedding day is bad enough. Finding out it's with his best man is another thing all together. She narrowly escapes tying the knot and meets Vaughan only hours later.

Vaughan is the exact opposite of the picture perfect, respected businessman she thought she'd marry. This former musician-turned-bartender is rough around the edges and unsettled. But she already tried Mr. Right and discovered he's all wrong-maybe it's time to give Mr. Right Now a chance.

After all, what's wrong with getting dirty?

My Review

I bought this amazing book on amazon last month and I couldn't wait to get started with it!

I LOVE kylie Scott books; the male characters always seem to be kind of womanizers but have a pure heart within that just needs the right woman to awaken it.

Then they become this AMAZING men, with so much love for their woman that they just can’t leave them alone. Yeah obsessive but in a good way.

This book is no exception, Vaughan is so perfect, he is funny and sexy and since they meet they can’t seem to be apart; it’s like they were meant for each other, and this crazy circumstances put them in the perfect time and place.

I loved the “meet cute” they shared, the whole shower incident was perfection!

Since the moment we meet these characters we just know they are meant to be together, they have this perfect chemistry that warms up the place with just one shared look.

I’m not even going to get into the sex scenes … WOW, just crazy good!

Overall, a beautiful fun story, we also get to meet some new characters that have so much potential, I can’t wait to read their stories.

Her Twin Stepbrothers (MFM Menage with BONUS novel Failure to Stop) by Terry Towers

My Rating: 4 Stars

Series: No

Sex Scenes: Yes.

Subject: Sexy Stepbrothers story

Summary
One night changed everything...

Andrea:

What does a failing family business, anxiety over feelings that are wrong to have and a situation involving mistaken identity have in common?

It's the story of my life.

While on a recon mission to try to get some ideas on how to save my bar I found myself in the hottest new club in town which happened to be a strip club. The manager mistook me for the new girl and next thing I know I'm up on stage shaking my fanny for dollar bills.

It was a one-time crazy thing I did. That was until I saw my sexy as sin stepbrothers in the audience, shock and something more unsettling in their gazes as they stared up at me.

I have a feeling life is never going to be the same....

Sam and Eric:

Has the world gone mad?

That's the only logical explanation. Imagine our surprise when we go to the hottest new club in town and see our somewhat conservative stepsister on stage.

In the blink of an eye Andrea went from being our pain in the rear stepsister to something that keeps us up all night. We have so many other problems already, now we have battling it out for our stepsister to add to that list.

We share everything, but how can we share her?

My Review

I bought this book on Amazon the other day and loved it!

When I read the synopsis I was hooked, I wanted to read it right away, since I was in the mood of a threesome book.

I wasn't disappointed! The story was sexy and captivating, the characters were so hot!

The twin brothers were described in such a good way by the author, that you could tell right away who it was from the way the acted and their way of talking.

Eric was the calm and collected one, but boy did he surprised us, their first scene was steamy and intense!

Sam, the joker and the player, but he was such a kind lover. He was simple and raw.

Last but not least Andrea, she was young and adventurous but life put her on a tricky situation and she thinks she knows just how to get out of it.

The story was fun and entertaining, the sex scenes are amazing and they seem to just click.

A must read!
